IPPUDO Singapore brings two new seasonal dishes to its menu – the Umakara Spicy Cheese Tonkotsu and Wakayama Ramen.
The launch of this dish marks the first time IPPUDO Singapore is doling out cheese ramen. The bowl of rich and creamy tonkotsu ramen is ceremoniously heaped with a mountain of parmesan cheese and draped with irresistible melted mozzarella cheese. The ramen is also topped with torched chashu, crispy deep-fried diced potatoes, umami egg, broccoli and served with a side of garlicky cherry tomatoes and juicy torched bacon cubes.
The Umakara Spicy Cheese Tonkotsu is priced at S$19 per bowl at Mandarin Gallery and Mohamed Sultan outlets
A top seller in IPPUDO Thailand, originating from Wakayama City, is a dish lauded for its original tonkotsu, married with a dash of chicken broth to produce a rich body yet mild finish. It comes complete with a mix of loin and belly chashu, umami egg, fish cake, bamboo shoots, seaweed, fresh spring onions, and is served with a side of marinated beansprouts. Toss in some takana (Japanese pickled mustard greens), which is a traditional Japanese garnish.
The Wakayama Ramen is priced at S$18 per bowl at Shaw Centre, Westgate, Tanjong Pagar and The Star Vista outlets, and at S$20 per bowl at Marina Bay Sands outlet.
These two new offerings will be available from 16 March 2020 for a limited period only.
