Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 – here are all the activities you can find at Marina Bay and Civic District as we welcome 2020

Marina Bay and the Civic District are getting ready to welcome 2020 with a bustling countdown celebration lined up with exciting activities for all from day till night.

From foodies to music enthusiasts, from animal lovers to thrill-seekers, as well as those in search of novelty experiences and free activities for the whole family, there is something for everyone! Presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), the 15th edition of Singapore’s biggest countdown event Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 will offer a festive atmosphere for everyone to usher in the New Year together.

Build a Dream light projections

Be inspired as beautiful artworks from these non-profits are projected on The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the ArtScience Museum, and the Merlion.

VOMG Rock Band NYE Party @ Singapore Flyer

With the 1,000-strong band comprising local youth musicians taking the stage, watch as they attempt to break a Guinness World Record with a medley of songs and fireworks to usher in the New Year from 1 PM to 1 AM, showcasing the next generation of empowered youths in Singapore.

The Great Circus of Europe is coming to Singapore to entertain you with a sensational, mind-blowing show, with never before seen acts that are sure to light up the night.

Esplanade Presents: Come Together

On 31 December, enjoy free live performances at the Esplanade Concourse, before coming together with Hillary Francis, Joe & The Soul Express and MOTUS from 7 PM, as they ring in the New Year with celebrity host Timothy Nga. Special weekend pop-up performances around the centre also await you at Come Together.

Starland Singapore Countdown Edition 2019-2020

Step into the centre of a grand multi-sensory fireworks musical show that marries the latest technologies with the most stunning Japanese-designed fireworks, larger-than-life pyrotechnics, 3D surround sound and a stellar cast of artists into a single, seamless performance.

For one night only, Empress Lawn will be transformed into a chill-out zone, replete with delicious treats, and capped with a Silent Disco Asia party to dance in the New Year. You can also customise a complimentary cocktail according to your mood at the MIX bar.

The Philharmonic Orchestra presents New Year’s Eve Countdown Concert 2020

Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 is presented by the URA and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board. Organised in collaboration with various agencies and event partners, Marina Bay Singapore Countdown is Singapore’s signature event to usher in the New Year.

It is part of a calendar of exciting events that adds to Singapore’s distinctiveness as a vibrant city and leisure destination.
