Ice Cream Sundays will be throwing a party at Haw Par Villa this October – partygoers see details here

Homegrown party collective Ice Cream Sundays will be throwing the sequel to their sold-out and highly acclaimed party, ‘Haw Par Thrilla’, at historic theme park, Haw Par Villa this coming 12 October.

The event will be a special collaboration with Shi Fu Miz, one of Hong Kong’s leading independent dance music festivals, and will serve as both a third-anniversary celebration for Ice Cream Sundays and a pre-party for the upcoming Shi Fu Miz Festival on 26 – 27 October.

‘Haw Par Thrilla 2’ will take place from 3 PM to 10:30 PM and will feature DJ sets from the Ice Cream Sundays and Shi Fu Miz selectors, multimedia art and design installations, and a range of quality food and beverage options.

Punters will be treated to a full day of music, including guest DJ sets from the international Shi Fu Miz roster:

  • Shi Fu Miz, Dolce Vito (La Mamie’s, France)
  • DJ duo ROAM Selectors (ROAM, Hong Kong
  • Bongomann
  • Muto Masashi

Building upon the first iteration of ‘Haw Par Thrilla’, the event will be a multi-sensory experience featuring art and visual installations by local creatives. Artist collective Mural Lingo will be creating a special projection-mapped mural, which will combine technology with the traditional paint medium and come to life as day turns to night.

Meanwhile, digital artist The Super System will craft custom visual projections to light up the dance floor, while designer Pier-Alessio Rizzardi of TCA Think Thank will be conceptualizing and erecting a large-scale decorative installation.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day, with a pop-up bar featuring ice-cold, Singaporean craft beer by Lion Brewery, as well as a range of premium spirits. Burp Kitchen will be on-site serving up their take on Americanised comfort food, with Asian-inspired & Tex-Mex fusion dishes. For dessert, Popbar SG will be offering their customizable gelato popsicles, a favourite at Ice Cream Sundays events.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $15 available for purchase here.

‘Haw Par Thrilla 2’ is supported by the Embassy of France in Singapore.
