Tucked away inside the lifestyle hotel, Studio M Hotel Singapore at Robertson Quay, MEMO Cafe offers a delectable selection of trendy bistro eats at affordable fares, including selfie coffee.
If you are unfamiliar with selfie coffee, it’s coffee that has your selfie or photo ‘printed’ on top with a special coffee machine for novelty. MEMO coffee offers this service and I ordered a cup of coffee with my son’s picture on it to test out:
Neat right? This will be a hit with the Instagram generation.
If you are looking for a quiet cafe to hang out, do some work while enjoying a cup of coffee and some light F&B, MEMO Cafe is worth a visit. Most of the menu items go for under S$20 and beverages are in the S$4 to S$7 range. Great value-for-money if you ask me.

I particularly like their cutely named “Chum Chum” (mix in Hokkien) which features an ecclectic mix of local fares like rendang and chicken rice with typical western breakfast items. East-meet-west, the Singapore way.
The general impression of hotel restaurants is that they are pricey, but MEMO Cafe has priced their menu items at very accessible rates to non-staying guests as well.
