In celebration of Singapore’s 54th year of independence, Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) will present an array of free public programmes from 9 to 10 August 2019 in conjunction with National Day.

Heritage Hurray! invites the public to acquaint themselves with Singapore’s rich cultural scene and provides Singaporeans with various touchpoints to immerse themselves in our shared heritage.

The Memorial Hall is proud to present an intimate sharing session by London-based designer and descendant of Chinese revolutionary Dr Sun Yat Sen, Beatrix Ong who will speak about her journey in sustainable design and craftsmanship, and her upcoming collaboration with the memorial hall.

Embark on a literary adventure with heart-warming stories such as What’s Inside the Red Box by Phua San San, a whimsical tale about Singapore’s Founding Father, the late Mr Lee Kwan Yew and his famous red briefcase.
