Seafood lovers won’t want to miss this limited time seafood buffet at Spice Brasserie, the in-house hotel restaurant at PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road.
It’s the school holiday now and here’s a buffet which you can bring your whole family to enjoy if they love seafood.
Spice Brasserie is famous for their signature crab buffet and has expanded their buffet offering to include even more seafood. This latest buffet menu is bigger and better than before, featuring the freshest catches that includes Singapore’s ever popular flavoured crab dishes, scallops, slipper lobster, seabass, prawns, and more.
The buffet’s lunch selection boasts unlimited servings of restaurant signatures including Stir Fried Slipper Lobster Black Bean Sauce and Chili Crab with Mantou, while an expanded dinner buffet offers a feast for crab lovers with two addition crab dishes – Black Pepper Crab and Salted Egg Crab, and a prawn dish – Oatmeal Prawns with Curry Leaves.
On top of the signature line-up, other hot dishes served include the Slow Roast Beef with Gravy, Steamed Whole Seabass Hong Kong Style and XO Seafood Bee Hoon just to name a few.
To end your meal on a sweet note, the buffet features a wide assortment of desserts such as Durian Pengat with Sticky Rice, Pulut Hitam, and Dark Chocolate Truffle.
In between trips to the buffet counters, check out the DIY mocktail bar – a debut at Spice Brasserie. Here, you get to customise your personal concoction with a selection of refreshing sodas and flavoured syrups such as Yuzu, Mango and Blueberry, and top off each drink with a rotating selction of condiments including lychee and sour plum.
This was fun and I made at least three sodas to enjoy.
My eight-year-old son Asher had at least two whole crabs and he particularly like the Salted Egg Crabs which was my favourite dish as well. We also feasted on sashimi from the sushi and sashimi bar and an assortment of other food items from the buffet spread. I was loading myself up as I was preparing for a half-marathon later in the day and a big meal like this was exactly what I needed. For Asher, he ate himself to the limit on just seafood items.
We don’t eat at buffet often, but when we do, we are value-conscious and we think this new seafood buffet menu at Spice Brasseries offers great value-for-money.
From 17 May to 16 August 2019, amp up your weekend dining escapade with family and friends at Spice Brasserie, at SGD48 per adult and SGD24 per child for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and SGD58 per adult and SGD29 per child for dinner on Fridays to Sundays.
Considering the wide variety of seafood, the prices are pretty reasonable don’t you think? For the hardcore seafood lovers, I would recommend topping up that little more to go for the dinner buffet as there will be two additional crab dishes and one more prawn dish.
