Bugis Junction X Bugis+ – Life’s a Beach Party happening for the whole month of June 2019

This summer from 3 to 30 June, Bugis Junction x Bugis+ presents Aloha Beaches, a unique pastel summer beach experience right in the heart of Singapore. Featuring a sand-filled lounge, palm trees, cabanas, food, drinks and an outdoor cinema, Bugis Junction x Bugis+ is definitely the place to be.

The Bugis Junction x Bugis+ Aloha Beaches will be open daily at Bugis Junction, Level 1 Bugis Square:

  • 11 AM to 9 PM (Monday to Thursday)
  • 11 AM to 10 PM (Friday to Sunday)

Live performances, exclusive to the weekends, will have two showings from 6 PM to 6:30 PM and 7 PM to 7:30 PM.

Summer Lounge

Brightly coloured cabana sunbeds will be set atop a layer of velvety soft sand, shaded by towering pastel palm trees and beach umbrellas scattered across the lounge area, forming the perfect backdrop for that Insta-worthy aesthetic.

Aloha Beaches will be also serving a delectable range of party foods guaranteed to satiate appetites. Lookout for the following F&B retailers and their respective highlight dishes:

Cinema by the Beach

Shoppers can enjoy outdoor movie night, every night, at Bugis Junction’s popup summer cinema.

Movie passes are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Simply spend a minimum of S$5 in a single receipt at the participating food and retail vendors at the Summer Lounge and Tropical Bazaar, and present the receipt at the counter located near the entrance of the outdoor theatre for redemption. Movie passes can also be redeemed with 2,000 STAR$ via the CapitaStar app.

Be serenaded under the stars by talented homegrown musicians Benny and Allie every weekend, Friday to Sunday, from 6 PM to 6:30 PM and 7 PM to 7:30 PM at Level 1 Bugis Square.

The Singapore Street Festival 2019

The Singapore Street Festival 2019 will commence on 21 June with a launch party on 22 June at Bugis+, Level 2 Atrium.

The festival will feature a lineup of exciting activities at Bugis+, including the following:

  • Asia Global Bellydance competition (21 and 22 June)
  • Singapore Yoyo Competition ft. Kendama (23 June)
  • Series of heart-pumping performances (29 and 30 June)
  • Asia Pacific Yoyo Competition (5 to 7 July)

The festival will also be happening at Bugis Junction, Level 1 Bugis Square, on 6 and 7 July with Street Football and on 13 and 14 July with a DJ Party.
