S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa launches Ocean Fest: The Noisy Ocean, in celebration of World Oceans Day on 8 June, which aims to raise awareness on ocean soundscapes and the negative impacts of sound pollution through audio-visual installations and musical performances.
One of the highlights includes a brand-new percussion showcase titled “Celebration of Sound” at the iconic Open Ocean Habitat. Through a live performance consisting an ensemble of upcycled materials turned into musical instruments and life-sized dancing puppets, the show featured an original, upbeat song on the importance of 3Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle.
S.E.A. Aquarium also unveiled new names for its largest and most iconic species – three male manta rays – as part of a recent naming contest, and introduced all-new mascots inspired by the majestic species.
Guests can meet S.E.A. Aquarium’s line-up of mascots at 12:30 PM and 3 PM daily.
To discover more about the aquarium’s three manta rays and their unique characteristics, guests can attend an all-new talk titled Marine Chatter held daily at 1 PM at the Open Ocean Habitat.
The Ocean Fest experience is included with admission and is available now till 30 June.
Singapore Residents and families enjoy online discounts at only S$30 for an adult one-day ticket (U.P. S$36) or S$79 for a bundle of two adult and one child one-day tickets to S.E.A. Aquarium. Terms and conditions apply.
