While popular culture would like to portray royals as these impeccably attractive people, anyone who’s read a bit of history knows that royal blood doesn’t necessarily make for attractive children (see Charles II). But that doesn’t mean the dreamy combination of “handsome” and “prince” doesn’t happen at all. Prince Mateen of Brunei could not just be handsome, he could literally be the sexiest prince alive!
Just take a look at him:
Just because it makes you thirst, that doesn’t mean he’s thirst trapping. He’s a prince, he doesn’t even need to do that.
He can also do “dreamy” in a pinch.
Wearing his princely attire helps too.
Does he like Singapore? He was here for the Grand Prix in 2017.
Who is Prince Mateen of Brunei anyway?
Just in case his full name, age, and other details about him would interest you beyond his dreamy Instagram, he was born in 1991 to the former second wife of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Puan Mariam binti Abdul Aziz. His full name is Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Abdul Mateen.
He’s the tenth son of the Brunie king, and he says that he is close to two of his sisters and one elder brother.
According to local websites, he knows how to fly a helicopter and play polo. He also has an exotic ocelot pet, which he has featured on his Instagram a few times. His other photos show that he is quite attached to some wild animals that they keep on the palace grounds.
According to other local Brunei websites, he also owns a fleet of Ferraris.
It’s no surprise that he has an insane fleet of cars or that he can own and manage exotic animals as pets. His father, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, is considered to be the richest monarch alive and the Brunei economy is stable despite being such a small country.
