The land’s mostbeloved food butler, Deliveroo, cordially invites you to take a step into a plush paradise of exquisiteentrées and grand gourmet. To mark the launch of this year’s most anticipated movie, Deliveroo’sentourage of hand-picked chefs have been laboring night and day to curate a menu worthy ofSingapore’s most sophisticated socialites.
The first in the ambrosial array is a dynastic delight of smooth Alaskan Crab Premium Congee with Abalone ($22), an auspicious dish by heritage-rich Mui Kee Congee created for the most delicate ofpalates. Boiled to a thick, aromatic concoction, we’re confident that the well-heeled Young clan of the silver screen would gladly trade their luxe dim sums for a spoonful of this silky goodness.
Next up we have a gorgeous Prime Beef Burger with Double Foie Gras ($36.75) that surely even the chi- chi crowd would want a bite of. Fit for kings and queens (and crazy carnivores), the creation is an indulgent meat feast featuring prime beef, Gruyere cheese and melt-in-your-mouth foie gras from the burger bon vivants at Two Blur Guys.
Rounding off the menu is Nam Nam’s Truffle Pho Australian Wagyu Beef Slices ($21.90), a nourishing but naughty bowl of rice noodles in flavorsome broth, paired with the tenderest slices of Wagyu and topped off with black diamonds of truffle which has more bling than one could ask for in a single meal.
To wash down the royal repast, consider the perfectly aged 2013 Ornellaia Bolgheri DOC Superiore ($350), or the award-winning 18-year-old Yamazaki ($1,949). These, we’re certain, will impress even themost difficult of mother-in-laws.
