Have you tried your hand at winning NDP 2018 tickets from these sources?

Have you gotten your hands on this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) tickets yet? For the uninitiated, like the new immigrant perhaps, you need to know that every year’s NDP tickets are highly coveted, and are only distributed for free, via ballot. You can’t buy an NDP ticket.

Other than the amazing aerial displays, song and dance extravaganzas, and general show of military might and aplomb, Singaporeans are super gian for the generous complimentary funpacks that are distributed to every member of the audience.

This year, application for tickets opened on May 23 via the official NDP website, SAM/AXS stations, and SMS. Application has since closed and successful applicants should already have received notification. So, if you didn’t already get your tickets, how?

We found out that there are still ways to win them.

1. From Food Republic

Visit any Food Republic outlet or Food Opera, snap a photo of a dish from there which you feel best represents Singapore, and post on Instagram with a good caption explaining why you think so. Make sure to follow @FoodRepublicSG and set your profile to public. If you’d like an unfair advantage, tag at least two friends to double your chances of winning. For full T&Cs, visit www.foodrepublic.com.sg/promotions. Contest ends on 29 July 2018.

2. Pioneer magazine

They have only seven pairs of tickets to give away and the closing date is July 20 – that’s tomorrow! To enter the contest, you need to read this article, and answer this question: “How many naval combat divers will be participating in the inaugural jump for NDP 2018?” Aiya, let us help you. The answer is “eight”. Now quickly enter the contest before the deadline.
