Most recently, Century Square in Tampines reopened in early June 2018 after a $60 million facelift. Let’s take a look at what the newly renovated mall has to offer!
There are 45 food and beverage outlets available and these range from wallet-friendly to luxury foods.
Restaurants-wise, there are tenants such as popular hotpot restaurant Hai Di Lao (opening soon), and anchor tenant Mahota, a hybrid dining and grocery outlet.
Click here to read more about Mahota and what they offer.
Other sumptuous offerings include Western restaurants such as Fat Papas and Asian cuisine such as Nakhon Kitchen.
These are all restaurant chains that are wildly popular among Singaporeans and previously hard to find in the East.
There are also interesting cafe concepts such as Two Hana which sells affordable coffee-based drinks and Korean food.
Century Square also has a food court, The Food Market, with a sizeable number of food options.
Fans of milk tea will be delighted to know that there is also a Gong Cha outlet available here. This outlet is quite unique as orders are mainly taken through cashless kiosks.
There are some cool features of the mall such as the first virtual library in Singapore!
eReads @ Century Square allows borrowing of ebooks through a digital wall in line with Smart Nation Initiatives to transform malls technologically.
Aside from the virtual library, the National Library Board will also hold events and activities targeted at children and to promote reading at Century Square.
Entertainment-wise, Filmgarde Cineplexes has also opened its 3rd cinema at Century Square.
Youths may be interested to know that there is also an arcade in the mall, Virtualand, as well as City Hero which offers many claw machines.
Virtualand is decently sized and offers quite a few machines for you to de-stress or just have fun at.
There are many lifestyle shops available for you to meet your household furnishing needs.
For example, there is a giant ToTT outlet and bedding outlets.
The mall reminded me of IMM in the West as there is really a significant number of shops selling household-based items.
Currently, the mall atrium is hosting a mini Dyson fair as shown below:
There are also quite a few blogshop-style clothes outlets for the fashionistas out there!
A clinic is also available in the mall which is convenient for those who stay nearby.
Those who gym will also be glad to know that there is one available in the mall as well, and it is open 24 hours daily.
By MRT:
The mall is easily accessible from EW2 Tampines (Exit C), DT32 Tampines (Exit F).
