Star Wars fans better get ready for the greatest gathering of the Force this 5 May 2018!
The second edition of Star Wars Run will be held at the F1 Pit Building and Marina Bay area where new fun run elements are waiting for all participants. With over 15,000 participants in the first edition held last year, it has become one of the most anticipated running events in Singapore and more runners are expected this year.
Star Wars Run Singapore 2018 will be held just the day after the Star Wars Festival on 4 May 2018. The highly anticipated event will feature iconic characters from the intergalactic franchise with fun activities, food and beverages, and an outdoor movie screening of Star Wars movie.
With the unending war happening in the galaxy, participants will be given the option to choose sides. One may take the path of the Rebellion on the Light Side or follow Darth Vader’s footsteps on the Dark Side. These clashing paths will bring the Star Wars experience come to life with music and light projections and both routes featuring engagement zones and fun photo opportunities.
Young Jedis may also participate to fulfil their destiny. This year, Star Wars Run increases from two to three categories to cater all ages and fitness levels.
An inaugural 540m Young Jedi Dash will be available for young children to participate. A fun addition to the competitive 10KM and non-competitive 5.4KM race. Participants of the 5.4KM run will experience the first-of-its-kind flag-off where the Light and Dark side will run in opposite directions.
Star Wars Run loyalist that participated in the first edition in 2017 can enjoy a special registration price if they sign up now until 14 March 2018. They will also have priority registration for the first seven days, with limited slots available.
Participants can bring home limited-edition Star Wars merchandise exclusive to this year’s race pack. 10KM & 5.4KM finishers will receive a commemorative medal unique to their category and finisher t-shirt.
