Pullman Bangkok Hotel G is one of the new chic stays in the metropolitan capital city of Thailand. Located along Silom Road, the “Wall Street of Thailand”, the hotel is a convenient 5-minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS SkyTrain station and offers a slew of F&B options for those looking for a gastronomy treat during your stay there. Check out our review for more details on Pullman Bangkok Hotel G’s facilities and services.
This post will be sharing on the four F&B establishments within Pullman Bangkok Hotel G – 25 Degrees Burger, Mistral Restaurant, Playground Bubbles & Mixology Bars and Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant.
Singaporeans will be familiar with 25 Degrees Burger – there is a popular franchised burger bar of the same name at Hotel G Singapore in Middle Road. The brand originates from the Los Angeles enterprise, 25 Degrees, which offers scrumptious burgers with a stylish departure from conventional restaurants.
25 Degrees is the only 24 hour burger restaurant in Bangkok and the proud winner of the “Great American Burger Competition 2016” and the most “Creative Use of U.S. Potato” with a baked Benedictine potato dish. The bread patties are all made in-house, including the unique brioche charcoal bun you see below.
The burger menu is kept simple – the signature burgers are simply named as “Number One”, “Number Two”, “Number Three” and “Number Four”. Each comes with their own unique flavours, but for those who prefer something else, you can also customise your own burger by choosing from a list of ingredients and sauces. I tried Number One and Number Four and both were sinfully good – the perfect comfort food to fill your tummy after a long day of shopping in Bangkok.
The side dishes and salad are pretty good at 25 Degrees too. The onion rings are cut wide for full flavours and the servings for the salads are generous.
For those who like to wolf down your burger while knocking back a glass of beer or two, the restaurant offers a fine selection of craft beers, including more than 50 artisan ales and ciders from the USA, the UK and Europe. Highlights include the beer that began the modern beer-making revolution, the award-winning BrewDog Punk IPA from Scotland and Maisel’s Weisse Original, Dunkelweizen from Germany, a beer brewed according to an old Bavarian recipe.
If you are more a breakfast kind of person, 25 Degrees has an excellent breakfast menu selection featuring hearty and healthy items from steel cut oatmeal to pancakes and waffles.
The food here is great and prices are reasonable. It’s no wonder the restaurant is such a hit with the locals too – such that they do not accept any reservation from Friday to Sunday nor on any Public Holidays.
25 Degrees Burger is located on the first floor of the hotel beside the main reception area.
Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, Mistral Restaurant is a stylish, contemporary all-day dining restaurant, featuring a buffet selection of Asian and Western cuisines. For hotel guests, this is where you go for your breakfast from 6am to 10.30am. Lunch is available from 12pm to 2.30pm. I really love their buffet spread which balance a mix of Western, Thai and other Asian dishes.
Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant is located on the 37th floor of the hotel, featuring an open terrace that offers a panoramic view of the city and the Chaopraya River. The menu offers French cuisine and an extensive wine list.
If you are looking to pamper yourself with fine dining, this is the restaurant to go to within Pullman Bangkok Hotel G. I particularly enjoyed the steak served at the restaurant and will return again just for their steak dishes.
This is actually right at the lobby reception area. The Playground Bubbles & Mixlogy Bars perfectly illustrate the Hotel G experience – taking a refreshing reinterpretation of lobby and mezzanine bar concepts.
During the day, the Playground becomes a vibrant social hub, where guests and visitors can comfortably relax and chill-out with friends. In the evening, the tempo becomes more upbeat where mixologists shake, muddle and stir and DJs create a cool vibe.
The F&B options at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G all look so good right? The hotel is not just a chic and fun place to stay for your next trip to Bangkok, but the in-house restaurants have a wide enough variety to satisfy all your food and drinks craving. In fact, the restaurants are popular with the locals too and are usually packed on most evenings. They are great places to people-watch, mix and mingle to make new friends.
