Bayview Hotel Singapore Re-opens As 30 Bencoolen

After a year of transformation, the flagship Bayview Internationals property in Singapore has now reopened with an upgraded facility, design and a new name: 30 Bencoolen.

The hotel underwent a $20 million renovation that transformed almost every corner, from the lobby and guest rooms to the dining spaces. Now, 30 Bencoolen is the first hotel in Singapore with smart in-room solutions system and family rooms with two en-suite bathrooms.

The hotel is strategically located in the heart of the city within the Arts and Cultural District. It is the perfect spot to easily roam around Singapore with near access to three MRT Stations: Bras Basah, Dhoby Ghaut and Bencoolen.

30 Bencoolen Enhanced Amenities

Guest rooms are equipped with Smart Room Control Unit. This technology offers real-time monitoring of each guest room’s status and automatically detects any room defects. In a domino effect, it lessens staff responsibilities and stress making them more focused on accommodating the hotel guests.

For convenient accessibility and communication, interested guests may directly inquire via Whatsapp. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel and a Handy Phone with free local and international calls to six countries.

To further enhance comfort, guests may as well choose to stay in rooms with outdoor balcony. A swimming pool and Jacuzzi can be found on the rooftop. For corporate needs, there are six medium-sized meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 150 people, and one of them has an outdoor cocktail area.

Unique Gastronomic Experience at LOCAL

At the ground floor, guests can find a casual all-day dining restaurant – LOCAL Restaurant and Bar. The restaurant offers curated menu with a unique gastronomical experience led by no other than the award-winning Executive Chef Elvin Chew.  Guests can relish gourmet coffees and wines in the lounge bar, or try out its signature mocktail – LOCAL Freeze.

Kevin Peeris, Bayview International Hotels & Resorts’ Group Regional Head for Business Development, understands that the changing technology and modern traveller demands are the key consideration when planning the brand new 30 Bencoolen.

“At the heart of the transformation is our aim to deliver convenience and satisfaction for our guests – by investing in a hotel that not only delivers exceptional service now but is able to grow and harness the potential of the latest technology-based solutions,” says Peeris.
