Park Hotel Clarke Quay: Unique Take On Traditional Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner

Wondering where you should hold your family’s reunion dinner this Chinese New Year? Spoiled for choice when deciding the perfect dinner venue to host your loved ones, or planning the Chinese New Year invitations with your business associates for this festive feasting?

Park Hotel Clarke Quay is offering a combination of traditional dishes, infused with unconventional flavours and intricately created by culinary specialist Chef James Wong. As the hotel does not have its own Chinese restaurant, you can host a group of seven, or up to two tables, in the comfort of the hotel’s private function rooms.

Savor their signature offerings like the Ultimate Success Premium Abalone Yu Sheng – a unique twist on the all traditional Yu Sheng with added ingredients such as Lycium leaves, shimeji and enoki mushrooms. It is paired with gold-dusted abalone for extra symbolism of the gold ingot. Even the plum sauce has a special blend to make it less sweet.

Alternatively, if abalone is not your choice of ‘yu’ in your Yu Sheng, you can opt for the Prosperity Tuna Yu Sheng instead.

Talk about taking tradition to a new level. Instead of Steamed Red Garoupa served as a whole, the fish has been deboned, sliced and rolled with asparagus, making it much more convenient when enjoying this dish.

Another signature dish worth mentioning is the roast chicken, prepared French-style in cream sauce. This will give Poulet a run for its money as Chef James manages to maintain the crispiness in the roast chicken, and served in a bed of cream sauce topped with fresh button mushroom.
