Singaporeans have the most powerful passport in the world–wait, when did this happen?

Take out that passport from your wallet and take a good look at it, because you’re holding the most powerful passport in the world.

Singaporean passport just too the number one spot as laid out on Passport Index.

In the website, you’ll see that Singapore’s passport beats Germany’s and Sweden’s, which means there are more countries that don’t require Singaporeans to secure visas. With a visa score of 159, Singaporeans have even more options than anyone else when they want to just get up and travel.

The Passport Index is the world’s reference on everything passports. Developed by Arton Capital, a leading global advisory for residence and citizenship solutions, the Passport Index has become the most popular interactive online tool to display, sort and rank the world’s passports. The Index ranks national passports by the cross-border access they bring, assigning a “visa-free score” according to the number of countries a passport holder can visit visa-free or with visa on arrival. You can compare the power of different passports and even see how you can improve yours by adding a second one.

According to a release posted by the website, Paraguay just let Singaporeans enter the country visa-free, which allowed the tiny (but powerful) Asian nation to be the first to be on the top of the list of best 10 passports in the world.

The only other Asian nations on the list are Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.

Here’s the list of the top passports:

1. 159 – Singapore
2. 158 – Germany
3. 157 – Sweden, South Korea
4. 156 – Denmark, Finland, Italy, France, Spain, Norway, Japan, United Kingdom
5. 155 – Luxemburg, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal
6. 154 – Malaysia, Ireland, Canada, United States of America
