Why not send food to the less fortunate while you’re ordering dinner for your family?
Starting today, Singaporeans will be able to donate to charity at the click of a button via Deliveroo as part of the brand’s “Deliver-Lah” celebrations during National month in Singapore.
Deliveroo has partnered with local soup kitchen, Willing Hearts, to create an online pop-up “restaurant” on the app where consumers can easily donate a meal to someone less fortunate.
By simply logging in to the app or website and searching for the Willing Hearts “restaurant,” you can donate in denominations of $5, $10, $15 and $20 in exactly the same way you add a dish to a regular Deliveroo order. Doing a good deed has never been easier!
From now until 31 August, all donations raised on the app will benefit Willing Hearts and help them continue to operate their soup kitchen that prepares, cooks and distributes around 5,000 meals daily to over 40 locations islandwide, including the elderly, disabled, poverty-stricken families and migrant workers.
