All-you-can-eat durian buffet with barbecued meat and fresh seafood at Mandarin Oriental

Fancy an all-you-can-eat durian buffet?

Head to Melt Cafe at Mandarin Oriental from 13 to 30 July for an all-you-can-eat durian galore, alongside a myriad of fruit-themed cuisine and unlimited selections of barbecued meat and fresh seafood.

Tuck into appetising servings of smoked duck with lychee and plum; apple and walnut salad or sweet chilli pomelo achar topped with smoked chicken and notes of lime.

Over at the live station, savour a refreshing rock melon risotto, deftly prepared with Arborio rice, diced rock melon, mascarpone and Parmesan shaving, garnished with bacon bits and parsley.

Guests will have their taste buds pleasantly surprised with sumptuous fruit pairings such as fried fish with strawberry in sweet and sour sauce; duck breast with orange and roasted fennel, grilled salmon with lemon beurre blanc sauce and cranberry in herb butter rice.

Do not miss the smoked US prime beef brisket with its enticing earthy aroma at the carving station, and head to the barbecue pit for more marinated favourites including the roasted Mangalica pork collar steak, mini wagyu burger sliders and Australian lamb chop.

A whole suckling pig will be on rotation every Friday, Saturday and during Sunday brunch.

Taking centre stage at Melt Cafe’s alfresco garden is an extravagant durian station featuring the king of fruits for a truly unique dining experience.

Be sure to indulge in lusciously crafted desserts such as the mouthwatering pâte à choux pastry with plump fillings of durian cream, deep-fried durian croquette, divine durian penyet with sweet almond crumble and more.

Available for dinners and Sunday brunch at Melt Cafe, dinner buffet is priced at $85++ per person (from Monday to Sunday) inclusive of free flow of juices and $98++ for Sunday brunch.

For an additional $60, you will get a free flow of champagne, house wines, cocktails, beer and soft drinks.
