HTC U11: World’s first-ever squeezable smartphone coming to Singapore 17 June

What’s the latest squeeze?

Ask any tech geek and you’ll get a resounding “HTC U11!”

Well, do they mean it literally or figuratively? Both.

The world’s first squeezable smartphone from HTC combines revolutionary new squeeze interaction with stunning liquid surface design, intelligent personal audio, amazing cameras, and multiple AI (artificial intelligence) assistants for a smarter smartphone.

Come June 10, you’ll be able to get your hands on this stellar phone and witness all of its brilliance. Aside from being the first smartphone to be commercially released worldwide that is exclusively powered by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 835 Mobile Platform, here are some features so extraordinary you can’t miss.

World’s first-ever squeezable smartphone

HTC Edge Sense brings us the next dimension in touch interaction for smartphones.

A simple squeezing gesture on U11-  latest flagship smartphone from HTC – suffice to use your phone and navigate through apps. Open Facebook, check. Take a selfie, check. There is just plenty that you can do with this revolutionary and customisable squeeze function.

The intuitive HTC Edge Sense even allows you to activate advanced touch and use a “short squeeze” as well as a “squeeze and hold” for even more functionality at your fingertips.

Now with U11, the worst of weather won’t faze you anymore as Edge Sense is based on pressure applied to the side of the device. Using your U11 hasn’t been easier in rainy weather and when you have gloves on.

Highest-rated camera smartphone in the industry

Being awarded the highest ratings ever received by a camera smartphone in the industry, it is little wonder that U11 has exceptional optical and electronic stabilisation system.

Even when your hands shake – which is pretty inevitable, the photos and videos taken with this camera will still be steady and crisp.

Capturing every moment are now made extremely easy with a high-resolution 16MP detail and UltraPixel light sensitivity for brilliant selfies, day or night.

A super-fast autofocus in all lighting conditions also make the camera quick, your images sharp and even videos smooth.

USonic: Tuned to U!

By far the most advanced headset ever built for personal use, HTC U11 touts of an impeccable Audio Noise Cancellation with the ability to tune audio to your unique hearing. Personalise your listening experience, which is at the same optimised by the USonic earbuds that map your inner ear and adapt the sound profile to your unique biology.

The U11 has four optimally positioned omni-directional microphones in the phone and together with new Acoustic Focus technology, HTC brings the best 3D audio recording quality yet.

Unlike the average smartphones, you can now record audio from all directions even when you stay put in one spot. This is perfect for shooting video where you may not exactly be mobile. Acoustic Focus allows you to visually zoom in to target your subject and amplify their specific sounds.

Out of the box, HTC will also ship an HTC USB-C to 3.5mm adapter with a built-in DAC that offers great audio performance and wide compatibility with all other devices and earphones.
