Oasia Residence Singapore as an Airbnb and Hotel Alternative

For travelers to Singapore who need a long stay in luxury comfort, yet do not want to foot the hefty bill for a five-star hotel for at least a week, here is a new serviced residence to consider – Oasia Residence, Singapore.

Lobby area

Compared to Airbnb where you have to self-serve for everything; for a serviced residence, you get the bedsheets and towels changed, rooms cleaned, among other services.

Oasia Residence, Singapore just opened to travellers this year and will be the first-ever Oasia brand in the serviced residence category. The Oasia brand by Far East Hospitality was launched in 2011 with Oasia Hotel Novena and has been well-received by guests with good reviews online.

The property is located in the West Coast of Singapore, within close proximity to the business parks and education institutions in the area. It is targeted to meet the rising demand for serviced residences in the vicinity.

It has shared facilities with the neighbouring condominium development, Seahill Condominium and also has it’s own slew of private facilities and amenities. Here’s a walkthrough:

24-hour gym
Private pool on level 7 for Oasia Residence guests only
Steam Room
Shared pool with Seaview Condominium on ground floor
Kid’s pool
Pavilion pool with aqua exercise facilities
Pavilion pool with bubbles
Pavilion pool with mist
Jogging track
The jogging track connects right out to West Coast Park
Exercise facilities
Music anyone?
Small whirlpools
Another long pool
Smartphone in the room for guests to use for free with Wi-Fi access
Rooftop tennis court
Breakfast and snack area
Breakfast spread
Meeting room on ground floor which guests can book for free

Pretty awesome isn’t it?

Parking is free if you drive and there are also barbecue pits by each of the pool pavilions which guests can rent for free at the reception.

The services and facilities are certainly aligned to the Oasia’s brand proposition of “Refresh, Recharge & Refuel” for a long rejuvenating stay.

The third launch of the year from the Oasia brand that includes hotels (Oasia Hotel Downtown, and Oasia Hotel Novena) and hybrid models (Oasia Suites Kuala Lumpur), Oasia Residence adds another 140-rooms to the serviced residence portfolio by the end of the year.

The serviced residence is now offering an opening promotion, with discount up to 35% from their best flexible rates. There are three types of rooms available:
