10 Things To Do at Club Med Bali

Following up on my trip to the resort, I thought it will be good to share the 10 Things To Do at Club Med Bali.

1) Catch the Sunrise

The early bird catches the worm, the early me catches the sunrise. Be at one of the Beach Huts early in the morning by 6am and catch the sunrise that will happen from about 615am onwards, watch the rainbow skies and hear the splashing of the waves as a new day starts.

And while you are there at the Beach Hut, take a silhouette shadow shot.

2) Pick an Activity
With so many activities to choose from, from land sports to watersports, pick an activity.

Daily Yoga classes held at the Gym & Fitness Centre, there are Pilates classes too.

I managed to do Snorkeling on one of the afternoons. Be careful out at sea because the waves can be quite choppy, I felt a little nauseous after. The sea water wasn’t very clear so I didn’t manage to see a lot of fishes or coral reefs. I heard from the people there that the sea water is clearer in the morning.

3) Must Try the Flying Trapeze

If it’s not because I have a weak back, I would definitely try out the Flying Trapeze. I can assure you that it is very safe. Once you have done it, it is an experience to strike off your bucket list and something to talk about for a long time.

4) Take a Photo with the Buddha

Take a photo with the larger than life statue of the Buddha next to the space at The Kintamani main bar.

5) Laze at the Zen Pool

This is Club Med Bali’s Main Pool, it can get quite crowded with families and kids having fun.

For a more peaceful alternative, laze at the new Zen Pool. The Zen Pool is an adult pool where children below 18 years old are not allowed and guests have to be as quiet as possible when they are there. Do note that there is no lifeguard on duty. The Zen Pool also has a bar.

6) Spot Wildlife

Club Med Bali resort is built close to nature, spot wildlife. There are many animals that can be spotted around the resort. I spotted a squirrel one morning while having breakfast at the outdoor section of The Agung restaurant.

7) It’s a Party Every Night!

It’s a Party every night with a different dress code theme. One night it is Colorful Elegance, one night everyone had to wear the casual Club Med 45/88 T-shirts for the ‘Rock the Beach’ Beach Party and another the ‘White Sensations’ Party where everyone had to be dressed in white. Let go, let loose and dance the night away.

8) Relax with a Balinese Massage

After a night of partying and dancing, relax those muscles with a Balinese Massage. Club Med Bali’s Spa treatments are by Mandara Spa. Spa treatment bookings have to be made in advance.

You can also choose to have your massage at one of the Cabanas by the Main Pool.

9) Discover Bali through Excursion Trips

And if the activities of Club Med Bali aren’t enough to keep you occupied, get out of the resort and discover Bali through Excursion Trips to Royal Temple of Tanah Lot or the Uluwatu Temple. Tour bookings can be made at the Excursions Center.

The sea view at Tanah Lot is breathtakingly beautiful and spectacular.

10) Shop at the Club Med Boutique

Lastly, don’t go home without shopping at the Club Med Boutique. Other than selling souvenirs with Balinese culture, make sure you buy some of their really nice merchandise to remember Club Med Bali by. I really like the Club Med 45/88 T-shirts and their printed drawstring bags.
