Recently refurbished and rebranded, Pullman Bangkok Hotel G is one of the newest chic stays in the metropolitan capital city of Thailand.
height=315The hotel is located along Silom Road, the “Wall Street of Thailand”, and is a convenient 5-minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS SkyTrain station which connects you with the rest of metro Bangkok.
The hotel offers a total of 469 rooms, of which 187 are recently renovated to embrace edgy chic decor, reminiscent of New York’s iconic spacious white minimalist lofts.
Think Apple iPhone and Apple packaging kind of minimalist hipster cool. That’s how the hotel decor jumps out to me.
Everything is essentially stripped bare and white where possible.
Ranging from stylish Deluxe Rooms to modern Suites, the hotel offers four different room types with wide window views of the Bangkok skyline.
I stayed in one of the recently renovated 34sqm G Deluxe Room and here is a photo walkthrough of the room:
The contemporary furnishings and decor were delightful for me. The artful use of white as the dominant colour creates a space that feels at once spacious and light, while offering floor-to-ceiling windows with uninterrupted view of the city.
An all-white surrounding coupled with the large windows just make the room seem so much bigger than it actually is.
For those who prefer an even larger living space, there is the 77sqm G Suite with a separate bedroom and a spacious ‘NYC loft style’ living room. The space is large enough to host a small party, complete with many fun complementary items in the amenity kits and boxes:
While this party setup was done as part of a media preview, the staff had done this for guests too. If you are interested to host your next party at the hotel, you can email them or contact them via the official website with your requests.
Additionally, there are another 128 Executive Rooms ranging in size from 77 to 165sqm. These rooms have more traditional looks and are defined by wooden flooring as well as the same floor-to-ceiling windows with wide views of the city. There are also 23 Executive Suites with access to the Executive Lounge, personalised private check-in and butler service.
For meeting facilities, the hotel offers three themed meeting rooms: The Retreat, The Library and The Gallery:
If you need a larger space, Ballroom 38 on the 38th floor can pack up to 350 guests in 411sqm, with a stunning city view. The venue is popular with young wedding couples in Bangkok:
For those into health and fitness, there is an outdoor pool on the 5th floor as well as a well-equipped gym. You can also grab a yoga mat and practise your moves at the open area on the same floor.
For relaxation, choose a personalised spa experience with the Anne Sémonin treatment collection, using aromatic essential oils and natural ingredients at the in-hotel spa.
Pullman Bangkok Hotel G is suitable for the young and chic crowd, full of hipster appeal. It is perfect for party bookings and other group or couple celebrations.
