I was lucky enough to be in Pyongyang during last October’s massive military parade to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party.
And here are some glimpses of daily life which I saw (note that Pyongyang is regarded as a showcase city and we were tightly chaperoned)
