With the ongoing Southeast Asian Games, the National Stadium must be choke full of international visitors, visiting Singapore to catch the sporting events.
If you are catching a game with some foreign friends and looking for a reasonably priced, authentic local restaurant to host them within the vicinity, why not bring them to A-ONE Claypot House in Kallang Wave Mall?
Established since 2008, A-ONE Claypot House specialises in claypot cuisines, ensuring food are always consumed at the right temperature, insulated in claypots. A-ONE Claypot House currently operates nine branches across Singapore, with the one at Kallang Wave Mall being the newest addition.
Menu highlights include their award-winning Traditional Claypot Scallop porridge, various claypot dishes, among other offerings.
When a friend of ours from Hong Kong was in town, a group of us brought her to A-ONE Claypot House for a gathering to sample some local dishes. These are the items we tried:
The porridges were really quite good. I was feeling a little under the weather that day and didn’t have much of an appetite, but the claypot porridges were awesome comfort food.
In fact, just order a few pots of the claypot porridges to share and there is more than enough to go around. 🙂
