When I was growing up, my parents were very busy working hard to establish my mother’s business. My mother only had a primary school education, but with hard work, determination and support from my father, she became a self-made businesswoman.

Some sacrifices were made. My parents work long hours and weekends too. As such, family time was often limited and occasions like Mother’s Day allows for the family to sit down together and enjoy a good meal.
