Cross-Straits Politicians Music Video Battle: Victor Lye Thiam Fatt (Singapore) vs Frankie Gan Joon Zin (Malaysia)

So, Victor Lye Thiam Fatt, the Singapore People’s Action Party (PAP) Branch Chairman of Bedok Reservoir-Punggol, one of 5 electoral divisions in Aljunied Group Representation Constituency (GRC) has released an exciting new music video to usher in Chinese New Year:

height=315

Full marks for effort.

At least he is trying something and doing it a little different, compared to this classic from the Young PAP:

height=315

Somehow, Victor’s music video reminds me of a homemade elections karaoke video made by Malaysian politician, Frankie Gan Joon Zin from the Malaysia Chinese Association (MCA):

height=315

Both have high entertainment values and the same kind of retro karaoke video feel to them. What do you think? Which do you prefer? Victor or Frankie? PAP or MCA? Victor or Frankie?
