Suicide at Clarke Quay Today?

Divers to the rescue at Clarke Quay

This just in.

Earlier today, I went for a haircut at my regular salon, Naoki Yoshihara by Ash at Liang Court in the evening. At around 9.15pm, I was walking to the MRT station, passing by Clarke Quay.

I saw these:

Police cordoned area
Police tapes everywhere
Divers getting ready
Getting into the water
Rescue boats
Divers
Searchlight
Curious onlookers

From what I gathered, it seemed a 3o-year-old male had jumped into the river even earlier. The divers are there to search for the person.

I am not sure whether it was a suicide, but there are so many things to live for. Think twice before doing something like this. Think about the family and loved ones.

If anyone knew what happened. Do drop me a comment.
