Tupperware Brands’ VentSmart – Keep your Greens, Fresher Longer

Tupperware Brands Singapore
recently introduced VentSmart, a space and money saving modular fridge storage solution. The unique venting system of VentSmart allows for the regulation of the atmosphere inside the container by balancing the flow of oxygen and carbon dioxide passing in and out to control air circulation in the container, which can be adjusted through a slider according to the type of vegetables or fruits stored. With this unique system, produce is kept fresh for longer:

Rachel tried out the VentSmart in our fridge for the past months and it has been functioning to our satisfaction.

Unique adjustable venting system regulates oxygen flow with three settings

The signature features of the VentSmart range include signature lids with air circulating venting holes and a slider which you can set to open, closed, or half open, depending on the contents of your container – to complement the breathing patterns and increase the shelf life of your produce:

Fruits and vegetables fall into three categories based on the level of oxygen they demand. Low respiratory produce such as celery, carrots, cucumbers and grapes are stored with both vents sealed; medium respiratory produce such as beans, cauliflower, lettuce, and apples are stored with one vent open; and high respiratory produce such as broccoli, corn, brussels sprouts, and artichokes are stored with both vents open.

Smart & convenient food chart reference making proper storage simple

The VentSmart range is also designed with an easy-to-read food chart reference label on them as an indicative cheat sheet on recommended storage of fruits and vegetables with similar breathing patterns, and on recommended positions to set the slider – to maximize the freshness of your produce for a longer period, thus enjoying more savings on your grocery bills:

Curved sides and a built-in grid to keep food away from the moisture

VentSmart containers feature curved sides and a built-in grid to keep food away from the moisture that can lead to deterioration and rotting, and a new, virtually air- and liquid-tight seal that provides all the benefits of a traditional Tupperware seal:

Space Saving Design

VentSmart containers are translucent for easy viewing of contents, and modular for efficient use of refrigerator space. The sleek and modern design of the VentSmart containers comes in a wide range of modular storage sizes for use in the refrigerator for easy stacking and packing.

When not in use, the bases of the VentSmart containers nest comfortably together – saving storage space in your kitchen.
