New Writer on Alvinology.com – Introducing Adlena Wong

Adlena is a schoolmate of mine back in NTU WKWSCI.

Couple years later, we met again at work on several occasions for different projects. Through a random conversation we were having at a media event, Adlena mentioned she would like to continue honing her writing skills and I invited her to write for Alvinology.com in jest. She likes the idea and voila! Adlena is now the newest contributor to this site.

There are now three writers on Alvinology.com – Alvin (me), Rachel and Adlena. 

Here is a short introduction on Adlena: 

Adlena considers her professional life to be multi-faceted, having spent almost the last decade working for leading media owners, agencies and MNCs in the areas of communications and journalism.

She sees herself as a creative, resourceful, pro-active and dependable professional who has built cordial relationships with the media in Singapore over the course of her career. She is currently a co-owner of a small business and splits her time between managing that and her precocious three-month old daughter, Keri.

A third generation Singaporean-Chinese of mixed parentage, Adlena is trilingual and has a weakness for good “live” music and spa treatments. During her free time — which is almost non-existent these days– she loves to cook and bake for her family and friends and work up a sweat with some hot yoga and running up Mount Faber. To fulfill her wanderlust, she travels whenever possible and makes yearly sojourns to idyllic beaches in the region with her husband.
