MUSEO Art on the isle Restaurant & Barroom @ Sentosa Cove

MUSEO Art on the isle Restaurant & Barroom is a new restaurant located at Quayside Isle at Sentosa Cove on Sentosa Island.

It is operated by the same owner as Arteastiq Boutique Tea House at Mandarin Gallery, known for their unique tea collection and offering of social paintings in Singapore.

MUSEO is located in a very upmarket residential and tourist area, besides W Hotel and near Sentosa Cove residence.

I brought Rachel and Asher to MUSEO for dinner a few weeks back. Although driving there takes just 20 minutes at most from central Singapore, it felt like a little excursion, driving from Singapore to Sentosa island to the lux, Sentosa Cove. This builds up anticipation on what the restaurant has to offer.

Upon arrival, we were settled in a modern Japanese-style dining setting:

For ladies wearing short skirts, fret not, there are regular seatings available. Asher was amused by the novelty of dining without having to sit on chairs. He was constantly playing peek-a-boo from under the table with me:

While the restaurant has an open bar, it is kids friendly and I counted at least two other tables with young children dining there when we visited. There are also kids cutlery available.

I like the restaurant’s location and decor. It has an excellent sea view and an open kitchen, visible from most part of the restaurant. The ambience is generally quiet and the wait staff are attentive.

One of the MUSEO’s signature is that the food are all served in a cup for a contemporary twist to go with their fusion menu. The restaurant makes an effort to constantly innovate, adding new dishes every three months to draw in repeat diners.

Overall, the dining experience was pretty fun for the three of us.

Unless you stay at Sentosa Cove, MUSEO is not exactly easy to get to. However, this makes it all the more exotic if you are planning for something different for a special dining occasion like a birthday celebration or hen’s party for instance.
