Yes, you read it correctly.
The Manhattan FISH MARKET restaurants are having a “Best Deal in Town” promotion from 1st to 5th July 2013, slashing prices of their Fish ‘n Chips to S$3.99 per serving for both dine-ins and takeaways.
The promotion is to herald Independence Day in America.
I find this a real irony because this is a much better deal than so many of the crappy SAF Day promotions rolled out yesterday where one have to wear the SAF uniform in order to redeem the offers. Seriously? You were expecting throngs of uncles and old man to dig out our old SAF uniform and wear them out to work for a day to save like 50 cents for a meal upsize?
The S$3.99 Fish ‘n Chips comprises one piece of hand-battered dory fish fillet complemented with chips. The promotional picture looks like this:
Other promotion dishes this week include:
· Grilled Glory Dory at S$3.99
· Cheesy Nacho Chips at SGD$6.95
· Garlic Herb Mussels at SGD$7.95
