The Asian edition of the popular reality TV series, The Apprentice has landed in Asia. It is currently showing on AXN. The series premiered on May 22, 2013 and airs every Wednesday at 9:05 PM in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore, and 8:05 PM in Jakarta.

Asian magnate Tony Fernandes is the show’s host. If you are unfamiliar with who he is, Fernanades is the Group Chief Executive Officer / Director of AirAsia Berhad and founder of Tune Group Sdn Bhd / Chairman of QPR Holdings Ltd / Founder and former Team Principal of Caterham F1. His net worth is estimated at US$625 million, just a few millions shy of Donald Trump whose worth is estimated at US$788 million.
Fernandes is joined by Mark Lankester, CEO of the Tune Hotels’ Group, and Kathleen Tan, CEO of Expedia Asia in analyzing what went wrong with the contestants strategies and business outcomes, and determining which team member of the losing team should be “fired” from the show.
