A new diaper was introduced to Singapore earlier this year in February and Asher gets to try it out; while playing with the rattan basket and balloons that came with the media kit:
Kao Singapore welcomes the birth of a new product in the family – Merries diapers, directly imported from Japan.
Merries is the number one baby diaper brand in Japan and it is only natural it gets introduced to the Singapore market.
Distinct Features of Merries Tape Diapers:
– dual channel absorbent core that instantly draws in and locks away pee, leaving the diaper surface drier for longer usage
– skin-friendly wavy top sheet that do not stick to the baby’s skin. It allows air to flow freely between the diaper and skin, so the baby stays dry and comfortable
– so soft it can transform into a flexible “w” shape at the crotch area to accommodate the baby’s limb movements without leaving red marks or abrasions
After getting Asher to test the Merries diapers, our verdict is that it does leave the baby’s skin dry, but it cannot last as long as the brand of diaper which we are currently using. Price is a factor too.
Nonetheless, parents who are into all things Japanese like our dear friend, Mark, will probably love this new product.
