Following the watershed election whereby six opposition MPs were voted into Parliament, everyone must be anxious to find out if there will be any changes in how debates will be conducted.

I caught snippets of the parliamentary telecast today in office. The debates were focused and gracious. There was no anarchy or chaos as some would like us to believe; just because of an increased opposition presence.
In fact, if one do not follow local politics closely, it would be nearly impossible to tell which MPs are from the ruling party and which are from the opposition parties.
Today is just the first day though. Let’s wait and see how the debates will develop over time.
