Rachel and I attended this event in late August. It was quite fun to watch and we enjoyed our evening. You can find out more about the event at the Supermodelme.tv official website. There are also many videos and photos there that you can look at, including all the activities that lead to the finale.
Supermodelme.tv is presented by Refinery Media and jointly supported by A*STAR. In essence, it’s an English online reality show where 10 models from across the Asian continent including Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and India competed to be Asia’s next hottest face on runways and magazines.
The grand winner is a 17-year-old Australian girl, Evelyn Leckie who is of mixed Australian and Chinese parentage. In second place is Singapore girl, Christabel Campbell, 21, of mixed Chinese and Indian parentage. Third place went to a British girl, Kathlene Mckinney, 17, of Irish and Thai parentage. It seems that to be chosen as the face of Asia, one has to be of mixed parentage isn’t it? 🙂
Anyway, I took lots of pictures of gorgeous models at the event to share. Here goes:

Just clicked on the show's website... the interface is not very user friendly.
Also, is it just me or did the show not garner any online interest? None of the the top bloggers blogged about the competition. Compared to MDGs, the Singapore version, although bigger, didn't create as much buzz... disappointing. What happened to the marketing team?
All the jazz but no buzz...
