I was not bright enough in my younger days to be offered a chance for a PSC scholarship interview. Anyway, I always had the impression they were looking for ‘yes-men’ and having been mostly a non-conformist most of my life, I highly doubted I would have gotten an offer even if I am eligible. That’s why the comments above came across as rather comical to me. Since we are encouraged to be sceptical and cynical, what if I were to tell Mr Eddie Teo that I am sceptical and cynical to his comment that PSC is not looking for ‘yes-men’? 🙂

To me he is just spinning another story about the good things that our PAP government is capable of promising.
Isn't he talking of something which obviously the Government is not capable of doing ? From what he is saying, then Chee Soon Juan should be one of the talents that they should have kept in the government. But instead, Just look at how shabbily they treat Chee Soon Juan.
If you are not capable of doing what you are saying, then you are no better than a liar.

Even if you are one million times more skeptical than the way you were born, you won't even be step foot into the interview room to be rejected by them for some loser local award that no one cares about.
