The Great Singapore Workout (1995)

If you were schooling in the 1990s, the two videos below should bring back some horrible memories of morning assemblies torture doing the “Great Singapore Workout”.

Gosh, I hated it! I can still vividly remember how I will always volunteer to be the school photographer on healthy lifestyle day just to escape doing this silly exercise.

Looking at the music videos some ten years later, they are just as cheesy and lame as how I thought they were back then. The taxi uncle doing the workout beside his taxi; heartlanders sweating it out in a kopitiam… wah lau ey!
