Mad Jack Cafe (Paradiz Centre)

Store front

After hearing many great reviews on Mad Jack Cafe‘s super-size Blue Mountain ‘Tallest Burger in Town’, Rachel and I decided to visit to restaurant to test it ourselves.

We ordered a Blue Mountain burger set and a Mad Jack burger set (the latter is essentially a miniature version of the first). The patties are available in chicken or beef (no pork as the restaurant is halal). Both tasted great! There are vegetable bits and other ingredient mashed into the patty which gives it more crunch when you sink your teeth in.

We ordered a chocolate walnut cake for desert. This was disappointing as it was too flaky and dry although it looks savory on appearance.

If you were to ask me, just go for their burgers. 🙂

The restaurant does not have service charges or GST, and the prices on the menu are quite cheap – a set meal only costs around S$7 to S$12. The deserts are not expensive too, with cakes costing around S$3 a slice. My only minor complain is they don’t serve iced water, but I guess it’s reasonable given their overall low pricing policy.

As the restaurant is halal and also have a comprehensive vegetarian menu, I find it a great place to go for large gatherings where there are many individuals with different dietary preferences to cater to.

Mad Jack Cafe currently operates four outlets in Singapore. The restaurant chain serves Australian food and is committed to providing “maddeningly tasty food at crazily affordable prices”. (as stated in their official website). The addresses and contact numbers of all four outlets are as below:

  • Hi,

I am also a MAD JACK regular. It's hard to find a place where you don't have to worry about spending too much and at the same time enjoy the food with your friends.

    I like their TiraMadSu - it's yummy!
