This is cool!
A good friend of mine, Ghaz, is having his first solo screening at the Substation First Take Event next Monday (5 Nov). The address is Substation Theater, 45 Armenian Street. I should be going down to support if nothing crops up.
Ghaz specialises in making indie films with a distinctive local Malay flavour with campy humour. I found all his short films enjoyable to watch so far and not overtly arty farty. Previously, I blogged about one of his short film, The Forgetten Merlion before.
Ghaz will be showing all his latest short films; Lakshmi, Serah Diri and Block 46. There will also be Q&A session with him and he will be most delighted to answer any questions.
The screening is FREE and open to public.
