One minute of silence outside library@orchard
Library@Orchard will be gone from Ngee Ann City after 30 November 2007. Sad man… it only had a short lifespan of eight years.
The National Library Board had announced that the closure is due to the non-renewal of its lease on the 1,500 square metre space. This is largely due to the soaring propert market and increasing rental prices.
One less free place to hangout downtown.
We will miss you library@orchard! Although you have only lived for eight years, you have brought much joy and laughter into our lives. 🙂
Thank you.
Yours Sincerely,
Alvinology and Rachel
