Two weekends ago, Rachel and I brought Asher to our friends’ – Mark and Mei Yen – place for a swim with their daughter, Kelly.
It was the first time Kelly was introduced to a swimming pool. Mark and I were lamenting how we had to spend more than an hour getting them ready – put on their wet suits, waterproof diapers, feed them (but not overfeed). This is followed by another hour plus to dry and bathe them after the short half-hour dip… the trouble parents go to pamper their babies.
Nonetheless, it was all worth it for Rachel and I when we saw how happy Asher was in the water. He could not stop splashing around and wanted to dive into the pool himself if his mum and dad had not held on to him firmly.
Seeing that he loves the pool so much, I cannot wait to teach him how to swim when he is older. 🙂
I love to swim on fresh water swimming pools because they are great on the skin. Swimming on saltwater is kinda harsh on the skin. *.:,.
Hope This Helps!
