Evonne Lyn Lee juggles 3 distinct roles – PR consultant, Freelance writer and Recipe developer, depending on her current assignment, which destination she’s at and what recipe she’s decoding.
Client work has taken her to Vietnam for crisis-related services and Malaysia for an international golf fair during her PR agency days. A former hotelier, she’s spent 18 years pampered by the good life in hospitality. Passion fuels whatever Evonne sets her mind to.
Regardless of whether she’s conceptualising food promotions – the most memorable being French Cheese with Chinese tea; sprouting herbs, developing recipes for a cover feature or snapping photographs! Southeast Asia holds her fascination; she travels to scout for insider tips and befriends locals. Gleaning precious cooking tips from them, she creates contemporary takes on classic dishes in her designer kitchen. Evonne’s culinary creations, often inspired by opportune travels, have graced the covers of a top Singapore food magazine.
Apart from English, she also speaks Bahasa Malaysia and French – mais oui! And basic Chinese.
