Sentosa Transforms into a Disney Inspired Wonderland with Three Months of Magical Adventures and Nighttime Experiences

Sentosa is set to become the stage for an island wide Disney inspired celebration as Sentosa Development Corporation unveils A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line, a three-month event that will transform the island into an immersive destination filled with beloved Disney stories, characters and experiences.

Running daily from 24 June to 20 September 2026, the large-scale collaboration marks the first time Sentosa has undergone a transformation of this scale inspired by Disney Cruise Line. Drawing inspiration from the seven themed areas aboard the upcoming Disney Adventure cruise ship, the event will feature installations, trails, interactive attractions and night experiences spread across Sentosa’s beaches, attractions and natural landscapes.

Designed as a day to night adventure, the event combines light, sound, movement and storytelling across key locations including the Singapore Cable Car Sentosa Line, Sensoryscape, Central Beach Bazaar, Palawan Beach, The Palawan and the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. As evening falls, the island will come alive with illuminated displays and vibrant lighting effects, offering visitors a completely different experience after sunset. For the first time, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia will also extend its operating hours until 10pm, giving guests a rare opportunity to enjoy one of Sentosa’s most iconic landmarks after dark.

Visitors can embark on a self-guided discovery trail with an event passport, collecting special medallion stamps at each attraction. Every location is themed after one of the Disney Adventure’s seven onboard worlds, including Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef, Town Square, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, Toy Story Place and Marvel Landing.

The adventure begins even before guests arrive on the island. From early July, the Sentosa Express monorail will be transformed with Disney Cruise Line themed designs featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse, creating a festive welcome from VivoCity to Sentosa.

The magic continues in the skies aboard the Singapore Cable Car Sentosa Line, where all three stations at Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout and Siloso Point will feature Disney themed photo opportunities. Cable car cabins will also receive special makeovers inspired by areas aboard the Disney Adventure, including Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef.

One of the event’s most spectacular highlights can be found at the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. Inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay, the area will be transformed into a glowing coastal experience featuring elements from Disney and Pixar favourites such as Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid and Lilo & Stitch. Illuminated manta ray installations, ocean inspired lighting effects and pathways inspired by the adventurous spirit of Moana will create a unique nighttime atmosphere. Guests can also purchase a dedicated night experience ticket that includes a gamified exploration activity, collectible embossed stamps and a limited-edition Disney Adventure themed postcard.

Palawan Beach serves as the central hub of the festivities, welcoming visitors with a six-metre inflatable anchor installation alongside sand sculpted figures of Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse. Nearby, a San Fransokyo Street themed zone inspired by Big Hero 6 features a giant six metre Baymax inflatable and themed relaxation areas. Food trucks, retail offerings and rotating activations will keep the beachfront buzzing throughout the three-month event.

Toy Story fans can head further along the shoreline to discover oversized bath toy inspired installations featuring Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Bullseye. A splash pad inspired play area complete with a 3.9 metre shower head feature adds to the family friendly fun, while neon lighting transforms the space after sunset.

At The Palawan, Marvel fans can explore installations inspired by attractions such as Ironcycle Test Run and Groot Galaxy Spin. An Infinity Bar inspired area featuring glowing cocktail sculptures adds another visually striking element once night falls.

Central Beach Bazaar will showcase a 3.5 metre Magical Compass installation highlighting all seven themed areas of the Disney Adventure, helping visitors navigate the island wide experience. Meanwhile, Sensoryscape will be transformed into a Town Square inspired promenade featuring 13 princess themed hammock installations celebrating iconic Disney princesses and heroines including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Merida, Mulan, Raya and Snow White. Visitors can identify each character through silhouettes and signature motifs while enjoying a constantly evolving display of more than 100 lighting effects after dark.

Also within Sensoryscape, Tactile Trellis will be reimagined as Disney Imagination Garden, anchored by a five-metre topiary installation shaped like the Disney Cruise Line logo and surrounded by lush greenery and floral displays.

To commemorate the event, guests can purchase a specially designed merchandise collection created in collaboration with Disney Cruise Line. The summer inspired range includes an exclusive customised tumbler, eco bag, towel and keychain featuring both Sentosa and Disney Cruise Line branding. UOB cardholders who spend at least $60 can also receive a customised Glow in the Dark Medallion Pin blind pack.

The event marks the launch of what Sentosa describes as a new annual platform that will continue evolving with future collaborations and fresh themes. Throughout the three-month run, selected installations and fringe activities will be refreshed, encouraging repeat visits and new discoveries.

Guests sailing aboard the Disney Adventure between 24 June and 1 October 2026 will enjoy additional benefits, including complimentary access to one Sentosa attraction of their choice. Those with existing or new Disney Adventure bookings made during the same period can also enjoy 15 per cent off Southernmost Point of Continental Asia Night Admission Tickets and Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass bundles.
