CASETiFY and Bandai Namco Bring Back 90s Nostalgia With New Tamagotchi Tech Accessories Collection

Nostalgia meets modern tech design as global lifestyle tech brand CASETiFY teams up with Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. to launch a new Tamagotchi inspired accessories collection, celebrating one of the most iconic digital pets of the 1990s.

Originally released in 1996, Tamagotchi became a global phenomenon as a handheld digital pet that required care and attention, encouraging responsibility and empathy among users. The device has since sold more than 100 million units worldwide, remaining a cultural icon for fans across generations.

The new CASETiFY collection reimagines Tamagotchi through a vibrant, playful lens, combining its classic pixelated aesthetic with modern lifestyle accessories. The range includes phone cases, tech accessories, luggage and collectible items, all designed with colourful character artwork and sticker style visuals inspired by the original digital pet universe.

One of the standout items is the CASETiFY Travel Tamagotchi luggage, which allows customers to personalise their designs with selected Tamagotchi characters and custom text in the franchise’s signature font. The 21-inch Carry-On Bounce Suitcase comes in Primrose Pink and Cobalt Blue, offering fans a functional travel piece with a nostalgic twist.

Other highlights in the collection include a Limited-Edition Original Tamagotchi device featuring a custom CASETiFY logo shell, a Tamagotchi plush earbuds pouch designed for storage and portability, and a selection of straps and charms. These include a versatile three-way strap, silicone phone charms with detachable plush accessories, and a Tamagotchi shaped metal charm hook for added customisation.

Adding a collectible element, CASETiFY is also introducing Tamagotchi Chase Cards, which feature seven rarity tiers ranging from Common to Supreme Ultra Rare, giving fans an additional layer of discovery and collectability within the collaboration.

To celebrate the launch, CASETiFY will host special Tamagotchi themed activations at its Shibuya PARCO store and the CASETiFY Flagship Store in Dosan. Visitors can interact with themed installations, explore the exclusive device and take part in photo opportunities designed around the collaboration.

The CASETiFY x Tamagotchi collection will be available from 29 May, with prices starting from S$50. Products can be purchased online and at selected CASETiFY STUDiO stores. Customers can also join a waitlist for early access.
