Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5: World’s First Dual-Driver ANC Earbuds Arrive in Singapore

Huawei has officially introduced the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5 at its Innovative Product Launch event in Madrid, debuting what it calls the world’s first dual-driver ANC earbuds. Designed to deliver a breakthrough in lossless audio and next-level noise cancellation, the new flagship True Wireless Stereo earbuds aim to redefine how users experience music, calls, and everyday productivity. The FreeBuds Pro 5 will be available in Singapore starting 24 March 2026.

A Star Oval Design Built for Comfort and Style

The FreeBuds Pro 5 arrive with an all-new Star Oval design, featuring a diamond-cut surface and the HUAWEI SOUND logo for a sleek, modern look that plays with light and shadow. Available in Sand, White, and Grey, the earbuds draw inspiration from natural elements.

The redesigned charging case is 5.5% smaller than before and features a concealed hinge, precision-polished for a smooth dome-like finish. A new excimer film process gives the case a soft, skin-friendly feel.

Huawei also reengineered the buds for an Ergonomic Secure Fit, ensuring a lighter, more comfortable experience that adapts well to various ear shapes.

Lossless Audio Powered by Dual Drivers and L2HC 4.0

The FreeBuds Pro 5 introduce a Dual-Drive Acoustic System paired with L2HC 4.0 audio codec, enabling high-resolution lossless audio at up to 2.3Mbps and supporting 48kHz 224-bit transmission. The dual-driver setup separates high and low frequencies, resulting in:

• Clear and detailed highs
• Deep, powerful bass
• Enhanced audio layering across genres

Users can also customise their experience with four HUAWEI SOUND profiles:
Balanced, Voice, Classical, and Bass, each tailored for different listening preferences.

Revolutionary Dual-Driver ANC for 220% Better Noise Cancellation

The FreeBuds Pro 5 break new ground with the world’s first dual-driver ANC architecture. Two independent ANC drivers, an Ultra-Linear Dual Magnet Driver and an Ultra-Thin Micro Planar Diaphragm Driver, work together to suppress both low rumbles and sudden sharp noises effectively.

A new MIMO AI Sensing model, processing environmental noise 400,000 times per second, coordinates real-time anti-noise output. Huawei says this results in up to 220% improved noise cancellation over the previous generation.

Smarter Listening With Awareness Mode & Adaptive Volume

Huawei complements powerful ANC with smarter audio management tools:

• Awareness Mode blends ambient sound naturally with your audio, letting you hear announcements or conversations clearly.
• Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts playback volume based on your surroundings, whether you’re in a quiet library or a noisy street.

Connectivity Built for Work, Play & Sharing

The FreeBuds Pro 5 support smooth Dual-Device Connection, allowing seamless switching between your phone, tablet, or laptop. The Audio Sharing feature lets two Huawei earbuds connect to one device for shared music or videos.

The earbuds also come with an IP57 dust and water resistance rating, making them suitable for both daily wear and light workouts. Users can fine-tune settings through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app, available on both iOS and Android.
