Singapore’s nightlife scene gets a fresh boost as Zouk Group officially reopens its iconic club Capital with a dazzling celebration on 12 March. The relaunch marks the first milestone in the group’s broader transformation of its nightlife venues, introducing a reimagined space focused on connection, community and curated experiences.
The newly revamped Capital has been thoughtfully redesigned in collaboration with Josh Held Design, with a clear vision: to bring people closer together.
Moving away from spectacle-driven layouts, the club now features a more intimate and social environment, complete with 25 sofas and 12 standing tables across two rooms, accommodating up to 542 guests. Gold accents and refined interiors elevate the atmosphere, while the iconic island bar remains the glowing centrepiece, serving as a natural gathering point for conversations and connection.
Enhancing the experience is a state-of-the-art surround sound system that ensures immersive audio throughout the venue. For more exclusive gatherings, Capital also introduces a brand-new private karaoke room, designed for up to 25 guests and equipped with a dry bar and personalised bartender service, ideal for celebrations such as birthdays, farewells and after-parties.
The grand reopening was nothing short of spectacular, drawing guests from across Singapore’s social and creative circles. Notable personalities including Germaine Leonora, Julie Tan, David Matthew and Raynold Tan made stylish appearances on the navy carpet, setting the tone for an evening of glamour.
The celebration kicked off with a contemporary lion dance paired with champagne, followed by high-energy sets from resident DJs Rattle & Gainzter, who kept the crowd moving throughout the night.
The reopening is just the beginning, with Capital rolling out a dynamic calendar of themed nights throughout its opening month.
