Dyson Unveils Ultra-Slim 38mm PencilWash for Effortless, Hygienic Wet Cleaning

Dyson has introduced the Dyson PencilWash, a lightweight and ultra-slim wet cleaner engineered to deliver powerful hygiene performance in a compact, pencil-thin design. Built for modern homes, the new 38mm device promises effortless manoeuvrability and quick-drying results without compromising on cleaning efficiency.

Slimmest and Lightest Wet Cleaner Yet

Designed with a 38mm diameter handle, the Dyson PencilWash is the brand’s slimmest and lightest wet cleaner to date. Weighing just 2.2kg, and only 380g in hand, the device is engineered to steer naturally with a simple twist, offering easy handling across different floor types.

It also lies flat to 170 degrees, allowing users to clean under low furniture and reach tight spaces without sacrificing performance.

Filter-Free for Enhanced Hygiene

Unlike conventional wet and dry cleaners, the Dyson PencilWash features a filter-free design. This eliminates the risk of trapped dirt, bacterial build-up, unpleasant odours, and blockages commonly associated with traditional filters. The result is consistent, powerful cleaning without the hassle of sludge or performance drop-offs over time.

Advanced Roller and Hydration System

At the heart of the Dyson PencilWash is a high-density microfibre roller containing 64,000 filaments per cm². The roller spins rapidly to remove both wet and dry debris simultaneously.

Dirty water and debris are continuously extracted with every rotation, while an advanced 8-point hydration system ensures a constant supply of fresh water to the roller. This means floors are always cleaned with fresh water, maintaining hygienic performance from the first pass to the last.

The device also offers two hydration modes, giving users precise control over floor wetness. Whether dealing with light spills or stubborn stains, water flow can be adjusted to achieve optimal results and a quick-drying finish.

Built for Everyday Homes

Equipped with a 300mL clean water tank, the Dyson PencilWash can clean up to 100m² of flooring, roughly the size of a typical four-room apartment in Singapore. It provides up to 30 minutes of runtime and features a swappable battery pack for extended cleaning sessions.

Dyson 02 Probiotic Hard Floor Cleaning Solution

For enhanced results, Dyson has also introduced the Dyson 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution, formulated to work seamlessly with all Dyson wet and dry cleaners, including the PencilWash. The non-foaming, non-toxic solution deep cleans at a microscopic level, effectively lifting dirt and grime while remaining safe for pets and children.
