Huawei has unveiled the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Royal Gold Edition in Singapore, bringing together luxurious aesthetics and advanced smartwatch technology in one statement piece. The premium timepiece is now available exclusively at HUAWEI Experience Stores at 313@Somerset and Westgate, as well as online via HUAWEI Official Stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
Designed to reflect Huawei’s pursuit of innovation without compromise, the Royal Gold Edition goes beyond conventional smartwatch design. It combines high-performance features with refined craftsmanship, positioning itself as a companion for both everyday sophistication and extreme outdoor exploration.
The HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Royal Gold Edition sets a new standard for high-end smartwatches with its use of rare materials and meticulous finishing. Its bezel features an industry-first composite of rare-earth purple ceramic, fired at 1,400°C to achieve its distinctive hue. Accentuating the design are six hand-inlaid segments of 18K gold, creating a striking contrast between regal purple and warm gold tones.
The watch case is crafted from zirconium-based liquid metal with a hollow-out structure, enhanced through precision milling and multiple polishing processes. This construction delivers exceptional durability, corrosion resistance and a smooth, premium feel on the wrist. Complementing the case is a gold-accented purple titanium strap, forged from TC4 aerospace-grade titanium alloy and finished with ultra-hard purple ion plating for enhanced wear resistance.
Completing the design is a sapphire glass display with a Mohs hardness rating of 9, offering high transparency and strong scratch resistance.
Beyond its elegant exterior, the Royal Gold Edition is engineered for demanding environments. A newly developed waterproof system maintains full audio functionality for everyday use while supporting dives of up to 150 metres. Using Huawei’s sonar-based underwater communication technology, wearers can communicate between devices up to 30 metres, with a one-time relay SOS function extending communication range to 60 metres.
Golf enthusiasts will benefit from a professional Course Mode, which includes access to over 17,000 3D zoomable golf course maps worldwide, along with features such as an AI caddie, plays-like distance calculations and customised distance measurements. For outdoor adventurers, Expedition Mode supports full-colour map and route imports, accurate location marking and return tracking, while High Altitude Monitoring and Fall Detection add further layers of safety.
The HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Royal Gold Edition supports eSIM cellular calling, enabling users to make and receive calls independently of their smartphones. Paired with AI noise cancellation, it delivers clear audio even in challenging environments. Gesture controls allow for intuitive interactions, such as answering calls, triggering remote photography or controlling supported third-party apps.
The watch is powered by Huawei’s TruSense system with X-TAP, providing comprehensive and precise health monitoring. Features include Health Glance and Health Insights, SpO₂ tracking, stress and emotion analysis, sleep quality monitoring and heart health management, helping users stay informed about both physical and mental wellbeing.
