OH! Open House is back with the 12th edition of its flagship artwalk, OH! Moonstone: Everything Changes, Everything Stays the Same, inviting visitors to pause and reflect on what endures amid the constant transformations of urban life. Running from 18 to 25 January 2026 along Moonstone Lane, the event highlights the hidden layers of memory, connection, and resilience in a neighbourhood shaped by decades of adaptation and rebuilding.
Moonstone Lane may appear unassuming at first glance, but walking through it reveals a rich tapestry of domestic life, industry, and communal histories. The artwalk features five site-specific installations by Singaporean and international artists, encouraging visitors to consider how ordinary spaces accumulate meaning over time, even as the city continues to change.
Highlights include:
OH! Moonstone emphasizes that change and continuity coexist. By stepping into homes, workplaces, and personal collections, visitors are invited to rethink what it means to belong to a place. The artwalk demonstrates that the most compelling urban stories often lie not in landmarks, but in the overlooked corners where life quietly continues.
Supported by National Arts Council, the Arts Fund, Cultural Matching Fund, and partners including Deutsche Bank, Binjai Tree, Factory, Amici, Aloft, and Klook, OH! Moonstone continues OH! Open House’s commitment to arts access, cultural storytelling, and community engagement.
